A distributor label for US recordings. The label appeared in Australia in 1964. Stateside was the main distributor for Motown (before EMI started releasing Tamla Motown), Bang and others. The label sort of ran side by side with London. In 1968, EMI won the rights to the ABC catalogue and started the Probe label and the Stateside-Dunhill label.
