Decca Records was one of the oldest labels in Australia. The label  was a direct subsidiary of the UK label issuing British products from Decca UK. The Y prefix was continued from the 78’s as most of the EMI family.
The biggest selling Artists in Australia were The Rolling Stones, Tom Jones & Engelbert Humperdinck.
