In February 1963 the Artist labels started with 4-42699. They were used sporadically to August 1963 with 4-42791.

In September 1963 the Colour labels started with 4-42798 and ran to September 1964 with 4-43086. All these labels have ONE LOGO and both these and the Artist labels used the Colour sleeves, including the Grey sleeve. These labels and sleeves ran co-currently with the orange TWO LOGO label. It is not unusual to find the same release with different labels - one logo or two.

The colour ONE LOGO labels and sleeves were issued with ANY and ALL colour combinations. Collectors tend to match label colours with like sleeve colours, the odd ones out being Red and Maroon in Grey sleeves - Yellow labels i Blue sleeves. Back to Columbia main page
