Records was a Pye label which replaced the slot formerly taken
by Piccadilly Records.
The label was brought in to compete with the new progressive
labels issued by other majors like EMI (Harvest) and Philips
(Vertigo). For a while Dawn experimented with 33 1/3 rpm EPs (DNX
2501-2515), but the experiment was abandoned fairly swiftly,
