Creole
was formed as a management/booking agency in 1965 by Bruce White
and Tony Cousins. In 1970-71 singles produced by White
and Cousins under their alias of "Bruce Anthony" appeared on
a Creole label, a reggea subsidiary of Trojan. White & Cousins
started a new Creole label in 1975. The label was issuing Pop,
Europop and Disco material with Ruby Winters as the most successful
artist.
