Creole was formed as a management/booking agency in 1965 by Bruce White and Tony Cousins.  In 1970-71 singles produced by White and Cousins under their alias of "Bruce Anthony" appeared on a Creole label, a reggea subsidiary of Trojan. White & Cousins started a new Creole label in 1975. The label was issuing Pop, Europop and Disco material with Ruby Winters as the most successful artist.
