Nor-Disc
(or NorDisc) started in Norway in 1956 by three Scandinavian
record companies: Norwegian Egil Monn-Iversen A/S, Danish-Swedish
Metronome and Swedish Karusell, each with one third of the
shares.
In 1964 Nor-Disc was bought by Siemens, and it was merged
with Siemens Norge A/S to form a new company, still called
Nor-Disc. Nor-Disc represented labels Nor-Disc, Metronome,
Karusell, Reprise, ABC-Paramount, Impulse and others in Norway. |
