| Deutsche
Grammophon pressed Electrola MGM material until 06/1959.
All Electrola MGM records could be ordered until 31.12.1959 and
were still available in stores until 1960. |
| MGM
distribution switched to Polydor in July 1959. Therefore up
to 1960 both companies had their MGM releases in the shops.
The Polydor 1960 dealer-catalog had no MGM records listed (records
available until Sep 59).
Within a few months, Polydor released 3 new issues and 7 Re-releases
of older Electrola material.
With the start of 61001, a new sleeve layout was designed for
MGM, Brunswick and Coral.
This was the POLYDOR/MGM output for 1959: |
