Roulette Records was founded in 1957 by George Goldner, Joe
Kolsky, Morris Levy and Phil Khals. Creative control was given
to producers/songwriters Hugo Peretti and Luigi Creatore (later
founders of Avco Records in 1969). Levy was appointed as director.
Later in 1957 Goldner sold his interest in Roulette and his
Tico, Rama and Gee record labels to Morris Levy to cover his
gambling debts. |
